Jill Giedt is a performance artist, choreographer, director, and teaching artist with over 25 years of experience in dance, theater, and arts education.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Arts for Learning Northwest, where she also works as a teaching artist.

Through her independent programs, she continues to teach dance in schools and community organizations throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

Her professional experience includes Oregon Ballet Theatre, STEPS PDX, and PassinArt.

She is also the Founder and Artistic Director of Ballet the Black Way, a ballet organization created to expand access, representation, and belonging for BIPOC communities.
